"Tricontinental Master in Global Studies Program"

The Tricontinental Master in Global Studies Program (TRIM) is a collaborative initiative between Tzu Chi University (TCU), Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) in Germany, and University of Monterrey (UDEM) in Mexico, officially starting July 1, 2025. This partnership integrates TCU's College of Intelligent and Sustainable Management, HKA's Faculty of Management Science and Engineering, and UDEM's Business School. Each university can admit up to 8 students per semester, with the agreement adjustable to a maximum of 24. Selection is based on academic excellence, and applicants must submit documents including transcripts, CV, motivation letter, and language proficiency proof. The program is taught entirely in English, leveraging the strengths of each institution: HKA offers International Business, European Economic Policy, and Commercial Law; TCU focuses on Asian Law & Society, IP Management, and AI; while UDEM specializes in Latin American Management, the USMCA (NAFTA) Business Environment, and Social Responsibility. Students spend the first semester at HKA (Germany), the second at TCU (Taiwan), and the third at UDEM (Mexico), with the final semester dedicated to writing a thesis at their school of choice. Upon completing at least 120 ECTS credits, students graduate with Master's degree certificates from all three universities, obtaining three diplomas while studying across three continents.
